Cleemarsh Farm, is a fine 18th century, stone built farmhouse, much extended and re-modelled in 19th and 20th centuries. The owners, Mr and Mrs Simon Denison, wished to enlarge the kitchen and the study and to build a new bathroom at first floor level, above the entrance hall. The kitchen was to open on to a small breakfast terrace and herb garden. There were to be new windows, with outward opening oak casements with leaded lights and inward opening steel casements with clear glazing, to improve thermal insulation.
